SINERGITEC (Technological Synergies) was born as a No-Profit syndicate urged by the will to create a technological/scientific pool able to promote the technical industrial development in an efficient way, through a scientific cooperation with the university and the contribution of production experience from companies involved in all the stages of magnesium alloy machining.
The necessity to create a synergetic cooperation among the industrial, entrepreneurial and institutional actors also grows out of a more and more emphasized globalization that leads to a level of competitiveness that is not sustainable for everybody.
Many industrial policy’s interventions into the field of technological transfer and creation of new companies in high technology sectors show widespread lacks. The relationship between the world that generates knowledge (University, Research Centres) and the world that should translate this knowledge into concrete applications (Companies) is quite difficult and represents the main obstacle for the exploitation of results from the scientific and technological research.
It is extremely easy to put the Italian companies, which certainly are of a quite contained size compared to those from other countries, in a condition of technological growth through research in order to compete at an international level. Also, seeing the uncertainty of current business climate, the international growth is not likely to be always useful, even though the opening into international markets, due to the growing of globalization, entails the necessity to offer products and processes with higher added value. A choice that may appear difficult, in terms of human and economic resources, for a small, not properly structured company.
Then why join?
To join will certainly bring a series of benefits which are not easily achieved when pursued alone, only working in synergy can help us reach ambitious targets of scientific and industrial growth with a special regard for environment protection:
- Share of know-how on developed projects;
- Use of new knowledge and existing scientific and technological capacity with a view to setting up the new product with the new process, promoting revision of the production cycle and reducing machining ’s energy intensity;
- Use of external resources, research centres, universities, with the cooperation of highly skilled internal technical personnel;
- Increase of competitiveness at international level;
- Become part of a qualified international context of competitive development, made up of independent parties with high prestige;
- Create a direct link between the innovative potential (mainly connected to research) and the applicative one (essentially connected to industry);
- Use a new process with very high features, either in terms of safety for the involved people and of full respect for the environmental impact;
- Obtain an innovative methodology either from the point of view of energy and for efficiency increase and energetic recovery, as well as promote energy saving and reduce waste;
- Take part in re-launching the competitiveness of a new, high quality industrial system, improving Italy’s energy efficiency in Europe and over the world;
- Obtain possible discounts on the technical services offered by Sinergitec;
- Select new personnel trained on technologies;
- Use any discounts in order to join training programmes organized by Sinergitec;
- Welcome students to the courses organized by Sinergitec for training periods in companies;
- Develop applied research activities by getting easily into contact with those that have appropriate technical/scientific knowledge and skills (teachers, researchers and advisors) and use Sinergitec’s structures and personnel for the scientific/financial coordination activities and project management.
